Brochures for Family Justice Courts

While working for Tuber, I helped to write three brochures for the Family Justice Courts (FJC) in 2019. They were on the Personal Protection Order, Child Protection Order and Family Guidance Order.

One of the criteria for the copywriting was to make information on these orders user-friendly. This meant not only simplifying legal jargon but writing with the design of the brochures in mind. I organised the text as a flowchart to guide readers through every step in the application process for an order.

Thereafter, the designers at Tuber took over to illustrate the flowchart and add various icons. Sometimes the best reward for copywriting is knowing you’ve produced a sturdy enough skeleton for your colleagues to flesh out.
